Replace the Ethernet cable with a different one to verify the cable is not damaged.

3. Update the network adapter driver software from the manufacturer's Web site.

4. It scans for malware that effects Windows, Mac OS, and Unix which will help prevent from spreading viruses from your IPad to your computer. Due to the security of the iOS system it is not possible to scan files automatically or run scheduled scans so the amount of resources used should not have much impact as it will only scan a file when you tell it to scan a file.

For more info visit their website http://www.intego.com/virusbarrierios/

I do not have an IPad and have not used this software, but if I had an Ipad and wanted an Anti-Virus program I would install VirusBarrier iOS

This application will allow users to change their hmail email account password through their web browser. If a user enters the wrong password more than 5 times within 30 minutes their IP address will be banned from attempting to change any password for 30 minutes to prevent brute force attacks. This program does require a small database to keep track of login attempts which can be created by executing the db.sql file. The code was designed to run with a MySQL server so if you want to use a different database some minor code modifications may be required. Make a DSN named Webmail Password or edit the source to connect to your database.

Attachment: hmail_change_password.zip ( 480454bytes )

Virgin Mobile has announced that the new Motorola Triumph will sell for the price of $299.99 plus tax. Many people will look to purchase this phone for Virgin Mobile. (Or for some reading this article, to try and flash to Cricket.) Here are some of the specs listed for this phone:

This phone features a 5mp rear camera and can shoot video in 720p HD.

It has a 4.1" screen and will run Android 2.2.

It is listed as having a 1ghz Snapdragon processor and 2gb of internal storage.

An HDMI port will allow you to hook the phone up to your HDTV and play video on it that was shot on the phone.

For many, the most interesting feature will be the VGA front facing camera. This will allow users to do video chatting from the device similar to how users use Face-time on their I-Phones.

Once available, I will switch from my Intercept to this phone and give a review.
